REPORTS FOR LAGOS CHAPTER FGCID
DECEMBER
We had a get together as an end of year event where we mingled and got to know each other well being our fist time.
There it was decided that our annual dues as a chapter will be N12,000 translating to N1,000 per month.
It was also agreed that meetings will be held on a monthly basis so we do not leave too much of a gap between meetings.

JANUARY – FEBRUARY
No meeting took place is honour of one of our own, Mario Adugbe of 1995 set that lost his Father and Brother within short period. Mario is the Social Secretary for Lagos Chapter

MARCH
We had our meeting at W Place in Ikeja GRA and had an attendance of 50.

There was a health talk delivered my Dr Segun Akinwotu on How to Manage Stress In This Recession Period. He also happens to be our General Secretary.
The Chapter is planning to have a Group Life Insurance cover for its members and this will be an incentive for members that pay their dues.

So an Insurance Broker, Mr Shola Solar came around to explain how it will work.

There was also a suggestion for a Health Insurance package for members that do not have such from their places of work.

We agreed to get more information on this by the next meeting.

Our next meeting will hold April 23rd and it will be hosted by 1998 set.

There was an agreement at Exco level that meetings will be hosted by various sets on a rotational basis and 1998 will be the first to host such.

Tope Omokungbe.
